In the Fall of 2016, UMÉ Studio of Oakland, California presented us with a challenge. We were asked to reshape and transform a few of our favorite soaps and after a winter's worth of collaborating, designing molds, testing ingredients, and trying new pouring techniques, the Erode Summit Series was born. The Erode Summit series was followed by the Mini Series, and hand sized version of the larger sculptural pieces.

Our Erode Soap Series collaboration with Ume' Studio wrapped in June 2020. It was an amazing project, and gave us a unique opportunity to really explore the possibilities and push the limits of soap crafting.
